Welcome to Thai Winchester Restaurant. This Jaipayungton family owned and operated restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of the historic Old Town Mall, Winchester, Virginia. Thai Winchester is a full service restaurant with patio seating and full bar featuring authentic Thai cuisine from Chef Thipphawan (Wan). She owned and operated a 24-hour Thai restaurant in Thailand for 5 years and then move to USA 20 years ago. She had been a well known chef in the DC Metro area for 17 years before she decided to open her own restaurant with her daughter; Paranee, in the small town of Culpeper. After three years of success in Culpeper we decided to expand our authentic Thai cooking to Winchester.

     Thai Winchester provides a wide array of authentic Thai food and drinks to our customers. Our diverse and flavorful menu has something for everyone, from mild to hot, vegetarian or not. One of the keys to the preparation of our wonderful food is the use of fresh herbs and spices such as lemon grass, basil, mint, galanga, cilantro and kaffir lime leaves, high quality vegetable oil. We cook the food fresh to order with no MSG added -- because we eat the food too!!

     Thai food is internationally famous for being healthy food. The herbs for Thai food not only provide unique flavor, but they are believed to have varying degrees of medicinal and therapeutic benefits. Low in calories but rich in taste.
